Forth grade students learned about weaving for their "Day 0" this past month. Important weaving vocabulary they learned was: Loom, Warp, and Weft. Students also made an arts-social studies connection by learning about weaving in Colonial Virginia. They discussed reasons why people weave and brainstormed examples of things that are woven.
