Second graders studied the artist Keith Haring and movement in art. Keith Haring first started making art in the subways of New York City, using chalk. He is most known for his simple figure images and showing movement in art using lines.
Students used construction paper, glue, and sharpie marker to create their artwork. Each students made a series of 3 mini movement figures. Check out the students interpretation of Haring's work below!
