This week, my "Firsties" learned about different kinds of shapes- geometric and organic. They used oil pastels to draw geometric shapes and filled them with different kinds of lines. Students then used watercolor paints to fill in the background with organic shapes. Check out their amazing artwork below!
Welcome to my blog! I'm hoping to compile my adventures and experiences as an elementary art teacher here. This blog is full of art lessons, ideas, student artwork, and resources for parents, students, friends and other art educators. Enjoy!
